From dream to reality
As a family from Norwich, UK, we've always dreamed of a place in the sun. Living in Bermuda, we cherish island life, and in 2025, we decided to make that dream a reality. We visited Madeira hoping to find our forever home, a place where we could grow old and enjoy family visits. We were incredibly lucky; Villa Longtail was the first property we saw and we fell in love with the tranquil beauty immediately. We truly hope you will also fall in love with our home and the beautiful island of Madeira.

Why Villa Longtail
The Long tail is the National Bird of Bermuda, it nests in hills and rocks and has a majestic elegance. We enjoy 'sitting off' in Bermuda watching them dance in the skies above. When we first visited this house we saw several birds circling that resembled the long tail.
